There are so many of them. Detox diets…how do you know which ones:

  1. work; and more importantly;
  2. are healthy!

Dont underestimate the intelligence of the human body. If you lose too many calories in one day, your body thinks your starving and hence slows your metabolism to offset this effect. You know what this means…the next time you eat your body is more likely to gain weight than prior to your diet. So its important to have a diet which does not simply starve you.
